Post by gtv16v mon sep 13 2010 5 54 pm i ve been shopping around in order to replace the traditional washer type inserts on two pairs of bathroom taps as the brass skirt that helps seat the washer has fractured on two of them and another has a habit of getting jammed and preventing a good flow of water.
The retaining washer here acts just like a normal tap washer providing a seal between the tap and ceramic disc.
