Power supply unit is the corsair tx650 watt power supply non modular motherboard is an asus p7h55 m le motherboard i have 4 case fans and a cpu fan that i have to connect.
You connect case fans to the motherboard starting with the cpu fan label on your motherboard to your cpu fan.
Attach the case fan to the vented rear panel.
This is important because your bios often tracks fan speeds to the cpu and may prevent the computer from booting if a cpu fan is not detected.
Locate any empty 4 plug power connector coming from the power supply and plug the.
They supply the fan with less than 12v.
Power down the computer and turn the power switch off on the power.
You just have to be careful about dipping below the fan s startup voltage.
Most cases these days come with a few fans pre installed usually one at the front to bring cold air in and one at the back to throw hot air out but adding more can be useful if you want a pc that runs cool and quiet.
You just have to switch the ground and 5v wires on the power supply connector.
Your graphics card often has a fan or two of its own.
Connect all the fan wires to the fan controller right.
