There s a float inside the switch that will rise if the water level of the pan fills up with a certain amount of water. A separate float probe assembly swivels to accommodate drain pans having sloped sides. Unlike a float switch a wet switch contains a sensor that shuts down the ac when so much as a drop of water touches it. The condensate overflow switch is designed for installation on auxiliary drain pan outlets or inline on primary drains.

The condensate cop features a large over clamping area that fits easily over the edge of all types of drain pans. Engineered for use in building automation systems bas and hvac applications the overflow switches are available with a solid state electronic probe or magnetic reed switch. Debris clogging the drain line coming from the pan it shuts the system off before the pan fills up. Condensate cop is a unique clamp on float switch intended for hvac drain pan installation.
